Speakers/Sponsors

HealthLINC’s 11th Annual Conference, Take Action Indiana is just around the corner.  Join other healthcare professionals on Friday, September 22nd, 2017 at the Monroe Convention Center to learn best-practices for two important health topics affecting our State and others

  • Actions to Prevent Newborn Harm will feature health professionals from here in our own community, Indianapolis, Louisville, and Lexington, Kentucky. Neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS) and opioid addiction are major epidemics effecting mothers, babies, and families throughout our communities. Rainey Martin and her panel, from Community Hospital, will share their experiences with their NAS program that is making a positive difference in the lives of both mother and baby.
  • Integrated Care Adds Quality will feature integrated health professionals from our community and Jasper, Indiana. Effective Integrated and transitional health care play a vital role in the health of the patient; without it many would be lacking treatment and care.  Fiona Taggart and local office manager, Becky Rose will be talking about the success they have met regarding quality, MACRA and MIPS.

The day will also include an informative keynote by Trudi Matthews, who will be speaking about MACRA and MIPS for 2018.  Then, Michael Melby, Director of Clinical Innovation and Activation, will share the latest developments and progress of the new Regional Health Campus being built in Bloomington, Indiana.

CEU’s will be available for nursing and social work.

You will leave this conference with resources and actionable steps to take back to your community. We will have some fantastic door prizes and are excited to have an energizing break sponsored by Vibe Yoga Studio in the afternoon.

We hope to see you there!!
